Jet Skiing, Kayaking, Hobie Cats
are on the jetty at Coral Sea Resort. The water sports on the beach near the Broadwater Avenue car park is the place for Hobies, pedal boats, and jet skis.

Ocean Rafting
Twin-outboard, semi-rigid inflatables are super fast, skimming you across the sea for an adrenalin rush and fast arrival at Whitehaven Beach.

Tandem Skydiving
Whitsunday Airport between Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour is the place to throw yourself out of a plane for a mega rush and fantastic views over the entire Whitsundays. Never fear, all the way down you're in the hands of a skydive expert who will ensure you won't stop grinning for days.

Aerobatics
When airborne, the beautiful little red tiger moth at Whitsunday Airport is thrill seekers' heaven but sedate sightseeing is also available.  Choose from wild loops and stalls or a gentle putter over some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.

Extreme Walking
The Whitsunday Great Walk offers 3 hours to 3 days of varied terrain, flora, fauna and fantastic views.

Learn To Dive
Some of Australia's top dive sites make the Whitsundays a diver's mecca.

Learn To Fly
Next to the main terminal at Whitsunday Airport is Helibiz which will teach you how to fly a Robinson helicopter!

Fishing
Win the fight with a fat barramundi in Lake Proserpine and dozens of saltwater species around the islands, including the big fighting fish a little beyond the islands if you so please. Guided tours daily both on the lake and around the islands.

Kite Flying
Take a kite to Bowen, especially at Kings Beach on a good windy day.

Hang Gliding and Platypus Spotting
If you are a hang gliding junkie, head for Eungella Chalet, via Marian (west of Mackay). For the 90-minute drive you can take your  own jump into the expanse of the Pioneer Valley below or, for a vicarious thrill, check with the Chalet for annual competition dates. Eungella is also the home of the platypus but plan to be there at dawn or dusk for the best chance of spotting one of these unique monotremes.

Ride a Camel
From sedate, supervised rides at the Saturday markets to adventurous longer trips further afield, this is something different not available at most holiday destinations.
